ABOUT US

Building Brighter Futures for Black, BIPOC Youth, Women and Families in Simcoe County and Beyond

Founded in 2021 as the BIPOC Graduation Support Network, Rox of Hope has evolved from a grassroots initiative into a trusted community resource dedicated to breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for growth, healing, and leadership. Through culturally grounded programs and an unwavering commitment to equity, we support individuals while transforming communities.

WHAT DRIVES US

We believe potential exists everywhere.

We believe potential exists everywhere, but opportunity does not. Our work bridges this gap by ensuring that talent, ambition, and resilience are recognized and nurtured regardless of background or circumstance.

Every program we deliver, scholarship we award, and individual we support advances our vision for a more equitable, compassionate, and empowered community—especially for those overcoming systemic barriers or trauma

TESTIMONIALS

What people say about us

I would like to thank you for your generosity in the creation of the Black Education Empowerment Fund, and to express how sincere an honor it is to have been selected as a recipient for this scholarship. While the financial assistance in furthering my studies in significant, the personal meaning behind receiving this scholarship is so much deeper.

Racheal Student at Georgian College

I want to take this time to thank you for your generosity. I am genuinely grateful that I have chosen to receive the Black Empowerment Education Fund scholarship. Being a recipient of the BEEF has made a difference in my education by giving me the confidence that there are support and opportunities for people like me. This scholarship would also ease some financial hardships I am currently facing due to the pandemic.
